Faith in a Basin Future meets with MDBA Chair Neil Andrew

The Faith in A Basin Future Reference group met with the Chair of the Murray Darling basin Authority Neil Andrew in Canberra last Thursday 4 February. The Reference group members appreciated the opportunity to brief Mr Andrew about our project.

Mr Andrew spoke of the complexities facing Basin communities across the entire system, and expressed support for the FBF projects goals of helping communities to look at what might be their strengths and what will be the opportunities for the future. The MDBA also offered to arrange for further discussions with the Authority's community engagement staff.

We appreciate Mr Andrews time and we will continue to inform and liaise with his staff as FBF takes off.
